Meet Luke Berry.
The person you speak to. The person who does the work.
From rocket science to carpentry
I have a degree in rocket science, but I have always loved building things. Over more than fifteen years, I have been designing, building and constructing. Around four years ago, I took a sabbatical from working in the City and started doing carpentry professionally. I have been doing it ever since, and I absolutely love it.
Personal service from the start
HB-HS is my personal carpentry service. I quote the job, carry out the work and take you through the final handover. Whether you are a homeowner improving a room or a property manager arranging work, you have one direct point of contact.
Work shaped around your home
My projects range from fitted storage and media walls to kitchens, doors and individual builds. The under-stairs cupboards in the gallery were designed around a family’s coats and shoes; the reclaimed-timber bar was made around a customer’s outbuilding and beer pump.
Choosing a suitable approach
You can supply the materials yourself, or we can discuss supply and fitting. Some projects use fully bespoke carpentry; others adapt ready-made pieces to meet the brief. I will discuss the approach with you before we agree the work.
