The customer’s brief
The family wanted to use the space under their staircase without making the room feel too small. Storage needed to accommodate long coats as well as shoes and belongings for the children.
The fitted solution
A tall cupboard provides the coat space. Lower cabinets and a small triangular door provide further storage, while an exposed triangular section retains some visual openness.
